You want me to do what?????

This was my response when my Max Muscle member told me I should enter into the 2012 MaxFormation contest. I thought, this guy is whacked out on something. But the more I sat and replayed the words in my mind the more I started to like the idea. So, here I am... making my profile.

My name is Michelle Galvan, some people call me Mel, most call me Mellie.

I am married and the mother of 5 kids, yes all of them are mine.. I have the bills to prove it!!! :)

I am a sub contractor for a local company that allows me to help individuals get financially healthy. I am a bill collector. Now wait, don't stop reading just yet... I am nice to people and I am good at what I do. I treat the individuals I am collecting from the same way I would want to be treated.. with respect and offer help.

Almost three years ago I found myself where most women do after they are done having kids. Overweight, too tired to think let alone workout and lost on how I was going to get rid of the extra weight I had collected. My husband and I have been married 6 years and in that six years I had three kids, almost back to back. In fact the last two are exactly one year and one week apart.. it really is like having twins. Anyway, here I was mother of 5 kids married and fat. I was depressed, I was angry and I was looking for any quick resolution that I could find.

My husband took me on as a pet project and tried to show me how to workout. I had an excuse for everything. It was too bright at the gym, it triggered headaches. I couldn't lift weights I was to weak. My babies were too young for gym daycare... believe me this list went on and on and changed weekly. Thankfully, he never gave up and one day took me into a Max Muscle that was near my house. THAT was when life began to change for me.

I walked into this business telling myself in my head I was going to just get what ever my husband wanted me to get and then try and get the hell out as fast as I could. In my fantasy there was going to be some magic pill for me to take that would have me looking like the females on the website. :) When I walked in, there stood this HUGE guy with big arms and an even bigger smile.... Jessie.

That day seems like a lifetime ago, but to me it will forever hold a place in my heart because that was the day I began using Max Muscle products and that was the first day that led me to where I am today.

I am a big believer in biting off more than I can chew. If I stay dormant too long I get lost and find that I can never get anything done. As a wife, mother of 5 kids (three of them under the age of 7) working two jobs and trying to change my body for the better... I can't think of anything better to add to my very busy day than joining the 2012 MaxFormation challenge. I am ready for this, I was born for this and I say...... LOOK OUT.... here comes Mellie!

P.S. My husband (Joseph Galvan) is going to join as well, right after he eats his last slice of pie that he is devouring next to me. I say to that.....BRING IT!!!!!!

It's hard to show big numbers when you don't have it to loose but I love that I am still seeing inches come off and my body is transforming... thanks for the encouragement! :)

My goal to get my body to the next level is on the forefront of my mind. I am ready to get out of the 130's and do everything I can do to make that happen. It is not all about the scale but I am still under the belief that I can get my Body fat down into the 10-12% and the scale to show me in the 120's. New Year, new Max Muscle store, new Max Muscle owner guiding me... New Mellie on her way! ;)
