I have reached my early 40's and have realized two things, I am not getting any younger, and that I am only as old as I feel and I am really tired of feeling old when really this should be my prime.
I have a wonderful family and I a want to do everything possible to be around with and for them for as long as I can.
I am taking the steps to get healthy and fit because a healthy body contributes to a healthy mind.
My weight has always been a personal challenge and I see as she gets older that the same is going to be true for my daughter and I want to prove to her through my own actions that ever challenge, even one of weight can not only be met head on, but it can be conquered if you work at it hard enough.
I started thinking healthier on April fools day of this year, and I did that so that when I achieve my goals, the only fool there will be will be the people who did not believe I could do this.
