I am 47 years old & a Mother of two. I have a beautiful daughter Alissa who is 17 and a handsome son Anthony who is 13. I was born & raised in the Mid-west & still currently around the same area. My Maxformation Journey started in September ’09. I was depressed, had aches & pains in places I never thought were possible & high blood pressure. I was getting ready to turn 45 in September & I have always thought as age just being a number but I felt like I was 60. I found myself tipping the scale at 193.5 & my body fat % was 36.5. This was the heaviest that I have ever been except when I was pregnant with my daughter. I knew this was not a good thing because I had already had heart surgery at the young age of 40. I knew it was time make the change and stop feeling sorry myself or die. So, September 19, ’09 was the day I got a second chance of life & I never looked back. I am proud to say that I am still living the dream. Because, in September 2011 I celebrated my 2 year anniversary to a better and healthy lifestyle change. I also had something else to celebrate this year. After being out of work for over a year during my transformation I now have two part time jobs doing what I love. In March 2011 I got a job at a fitness center and hope to start working on my personal trainer’s certification next year. Then in May 2011 I started working at QC Max Muscle and received my certification as a Fitness Nutrition Coach. I have to tell you it is an amazing feeling doing something that I love by helping others through my own experience! I would like to congratulate everyone who has joined the 2012 MaxForm contest. Hi Teresa, Hey you look awesome, I agree with you , that age is just a number, I have bean working hard as well on loosing weight and shaping up, keep up the hard work and maybe I will see you out in about some day, because I live in Clinton Ia. not to far from you, but anyways , I agree with you, that everyone is a winner , if you stick to your plan. Your story inspired me, I am 44 and will be 45 in Oct, I am starting my MaxTransformation 2012. People think I dont need it because I am 'skinny' but I feel like you did. My body aches, I am depressed and have been out of work taking care of my mom who had Luekemia. She is healed now, and it is time for me to get back out there!
