Positive thoughts bring positive results!!

hey y'all! Last week I was really burned out. Took a few needed days off. I have 49 miles done for the month toward my marathon training. I know I can do better. I WILL DO BETTER!
I am up a few pounds and seems crazy since I have burned over 6,000 calories running already in February but I think I know what the problem has been. This marathon training has really been pushing my speed training and even on the longer runs. I am planning to slow down the pace so I hopefully will not burn through all my hard earned muscle that I have. I noticed on my runs last week at the slower pace that I do not seem burned out and still have some energy left instead of feeling the urge to demolish a box of pasta. I am going to use this energy and do a little weight training. Just one muscle group a day and thinking supersets? Is that the right term? I plan on doing very light weights but have my reps at 50-100. This is until I can guage how much I can handle with all the running I am doing and build from there.
I haven't really done any weight training since I went on vacation over Thanksgiving. I really can tell my body composition is changing and not in the good way. I love the feeling of lifting weights but my ultimate goal is still the Marathon so got to find my balance.
Also, need to pick up some supplements. Women's multivitamin, Omega 3 and some of the Femme lean (ladies, if you have not tried the Femme Lean, please look into it. It's my favorite!)

Way to move forward and yes, sometimes taking a couple days off puts the body into a different mode and you will see the difference!! Your doing great! Keep it up!

Sounds like you just needed a little break to get things figured out!! Your muscles are going to LOVE you for giving them some love after your long hiatus!!! I’ll check out Femme Lean,, it’s one I haven’t tried yet.
