12 February 2012 - Maxed out the Cardio-Glide (level 9 of 9), oh yeah, baby! Feeling great doing 50-100 reps with 1-4 sets/day now. Wife is keeping up with me, doing 1-2 sets of 25-35/day. Daughter has moved to Denver and son is doing well in school. Life is what you make it - make the most/best of it each and every day. GOD doesn't make quitters/losers/or bad people - it's a choice you have to make for yourself each and every day... Conceive it, Believe it, and Achieve it!

My greatest accomplishments to date (other than my wonderful family): I am a self-published author of one book so far... LOL - the title is "When Lightning Strikes." I have finished the second (Of Future Space and Time) and merely need to edit it for publication, am also currently in the middle of book #3 (Revelations) ... with ideas already for a children's book and atleast two other historical/fiction books.
I am originally from Portland, OR - but have lived most of my life throughout Colorado. And though I dearly love the Pacific Ocean and miss it greatly at times (seeing the coast), I love the mountains that much more. Pretty much anywhere nature is, is where I would rather be. Not a big city fan at all...
My only sibling (a 1/2 brother) was killed in a car accident (2005). My father passed on a few years back (2009). Both lived in Oregon most all of their lives. My step-mom won't have a thing to do with me or "any" of the grand-kids... her choice. My mother is often times my biggest pain, but I love her dearly. I have two children, whom I adopted from my eldest 1st cousin, some 11+ years ago - drugs and the partying lifestyle became that much more important for her (and sadly still is). My eldest, a girl, is currently 19 and planning to move first to Denver and then NY sometime thereafter, good luck with that! Thus, she is my second biggest pain. LOL. My other child, a boy, is turning 13 this month and has already decided (about 4 years ago) that he wants to go to work for NASA. WOW! My beautiful and loving wife of nearly 6 years now has MS, but neither of us let that stop her from being the very best she can be each and every day!
I am a very faith oriented individual and believe in GOD the Almighty very much, but don't believe that I have to attend a weekly service in a building designated as His to be a good Christian. After all, isn't everything is? All I need is a mountain range, a clear creek in the forests, or a sun-setting ocean skyline... Nature is the biggest church and most purest that I've ever found there to be, of any setting.
I have a plethora of acquaintances and only a handful of "true" friends, of those ... only a few that I would call my brother or sister. Loyalty, ethics, and integrity are everything to me. And this is why I believe so many companies are faltering right now... they expect you to follow their policies and rules, but they won't adhere to them themselves - especially to ensure customer satisfaction!
Both my wife and I have set it in our minds to take our recent health changes to the next level, this (2012) is our year to make the impact we want to achieve, to create a basis for the rest of our lives...
Tomorrow will be a better day and I will achieve my goals... which all have to be set out and planned for today. For even if tomorrow never comes, I'm still going to be prepared to take it on just the same!
